Older character buildings bring special challenges – Ian has an MSc in Building Conservation, and we have a great deal of experience in altering and extending listed buildings. Our good relationships with Conservation Officers in the area are useful. Even a small extension or alteration can make a difference in a Listed Building. We won an award for sympathetic development of a conservation area in Maldon, which included eight Listed Buildings and ten new homes.
