Set in the grounds of a large Grade II listed house on the outskirts of the Essex market town of the Saffron Walden, this small timber framed out building converted beautifully to a one bedroom annex. It comprises open plan sitting/breakfast/kitchen area, double bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Externally it is finished with a selection of black timber feather edged boarding and render on a red facing brickwork plinth, a selection of side hung casement windows, all under a clay pan tile roof. The glazed entrance screens are set back under the eaves to provide shadows and relief to the front elevation, while exposing the original principle timber frame.
