A new residential development of two detached and a pair of semi-detached houses replaced a large single house. The site was in a prominent position on the outskirts of Sewards End, a village near Saffron Walden, Essex. The development was designed and full planning permission obtained for the site, which was then placed on the market. The purchaser’s architect closely followed the plans put forward for full planning permission.
